A Quiet Place - Within the Corn Field
This project is a short scene from the movie 'A Quiet place'. I recreated the SFX/Ambient noise for this clip. This clip focuses on how silence plays a big roll in creating tension. Every sound effect seems to stand out a lot more as there is no dialogue and there are parts where there is only the sound of the environment. I feel like this immerses the viewer into the environment on the screen.
The Invisible Man - There's Someone in the Attic
This project was a short scene taken from the film 'The Invisible Man'. I recreated all the SFX for this scene and this was where I started to fall in love with using sound design to create tension! I like how in this clip I used some non-diegetic sounds for an emotional impact.
Arcane - Silco threatens the Chembarons
This project was a collaborative project me and some of my close friends worked on. We took a clip from one of our favourite animated TV shows and recreated the Dialogue, Sound effects/Foley and Music. This was one of my first group projects and taught me a lot about working within a small team. It was also the first time I tried recreating dialogue an syncing it up to the animation.
The Depths Below - Part 1
This project is my first attempt at an audio book/story. I recorded the dialogue and a lot of the sound effects/ambient noises myself. I wanted to create a story using only audio that immersed the listener into my own creation. I really enjoyed working on this project and I have plans to make a second part to this short audio book which will be released in the near future!
